Introduction
The policies and procedures below form an integral part of the MapleLeaf CA Independent Representative (MapleLeaf IR) agreement and have been designed to give Independent Representatives clear guidelines on how to operate a successful Network Marketing business. Beyond these guidelines, MapleLeaf Marketing CA Inc. (MapleLeaf CA) is a company that encourages ethical business practices in all we do. Violations of any of the Policies and Procedures in this document shall result in disciplinary action which may lead to the termination of the offending IR’s contract by MapleLeaf CA
1.1 MapleLeaf CA’s Code of Conduct
- MapleLeaf CA IRs must abide by the Direct Seller’s Association’s code of ethics and business practices. See: http://www.dsa.org/ethics/ethics.htm We do not engage in any deceptive, unlawful or unethical consumer or recruiting practices, and we exercise integrity and honesty in our activities.
- MapleLeaf CA IRs must truthfully identify themselves, MapleLeaf CA ’s products and the MapleLeaf CA opportunity.
- MapleLeaf CA IRs will provide accurate information about MapleLeaf CA ’s products, services, and compensation program. We do not misrepresent actual or potential sales or earnings to potential IRs, nor as IRs, do we misrepresent or mislead customers.
- MapleLeaf CA IRs will ascertain that customers who sign up for MapleLeaf CA ’s products and/or services are made aware of all options, charges, prices, and agreements.
- MapleLeaf CA IRs understand that their success is based on gathering customers, supporting them, and sharing with them the MapleLeaf CA opportunity. Success is possible only by maintaining a healthy balance of selling to and supporting their customers as well as consistent sponsoring and training new IRs.
- MapleLeaf CA IR, understand that cross-recruiting is strictly prohibited. The use of MapleLeaf CA ’s facilities, membership lists, the upline-downline e-mail system and MapleLeaf CA ’s correspondence to promote other companies may result in, but not limited to, legal action, forfeiture of commissions, or termination of the association with MapleLeaf CA
- MapleLeaf CA IRs are encouraged to keep accurate records
- This Code of Conduct is proof of MapleLeaf CA ’s commitment to offer the best quality product and services, along with offering a great Business Opportunity and a pleasant experience to its IRs.
1.2 Inclusion in the IR Agreement
All IRs must be aware that the IR Agreement includes the Application, the Compensation plan, and the Policies and Procedures.
1.3 Changes to Policies and Procedures
IRs understand that in order to maintain a viable marketing program and to comply with changes in federal, provincial or local laws and economic conditions, that MapleLeaf CA may, at its discretion from time to time, modify or change the Policies and Procedures, modify its compensation program, customer services and charges.
These changes shall be binding on all IRs. MapleLeaf CA will notify IRs of these changes in a timely manner, following which they will be binding on all IRs.
Amendments to the IR agreement and/or the Policies and Procedures shall be effective upon notice to MapleLeaf CA representatives. Notice may be made by one of more of the following methods:
- posting on the official website
- e-mail
- special mailings
- inclusion on notification of commission deposits
