Compression: Dealing with Orphaned Customers and IRs

When an IR terminates his/her position with MAPLELEAF CA , the customers and reps below the position are left without a direct upline or direct customer support. Using compression, this will be eliminated. It is important for the IR to realize that he/she will be held responsible for any customer provided to them through compression.

10.1 Orphaned customers

When an IR leaves the company, his/her customers will slide up to the IR above them. Their new IR will then be responsible for customer relations for these new (designated) personal customers.

10.2 Orphaned IRs

Similarly, If an IR’s sponsor leaves the company, their downline will slide up and their personally sponsored IRs will compress up to the next IR position above them. In this way, there will be no orphan IRs and everyone will have someone above them to assist them and answer questions as they arise. (See Compression)

10.3 Compression of Downline IRs and Customers

When an IR’s position is terminated, the customers and reps in his/her downline will not become “orphans”. The structure of the downline will compress, and the customers will move up to the next active IR immediately above that position. The purpose of this is to be certain that all customers have an active representative to contact and to make sure that the product or service that they are using continues to meet their needs. Also as the downline compresses, the customers below the IR’s 8th level will rise to become revenue-generating, providing the IR with more customers.
